Klondike Solitaire
How to play
Klondike uses one deck of 52 cards. The deal makes seven columns that hold one to seven cards, and only the top card of each column is face up. The other 24 cards form the stock in the top left corner. The goal is to move all 52 cards to the four foundations at the top right, each one built from Ace to King in a single suit.
In the columns you build down in alternating colours, so a red 6 goes on a black 7 and a black 6 goes on a red 7. You can move a face-up card together with every card on top of it, as long as that group is itself built down in alternating colours. Only a King, or a group that starts with a King, can be placed in an empty column. When a face-down card is uncovered it turns face up by itself. A card on a foundation can be dragged back onto a column when that helps.
Clicking the stock turns one card or three cards onto the waste, depending on the Draw option above the board. Only the top card of the waste can be played. When the stock is empty, a click turns the whole waste over to form a new stock, and this can be repeated as often as you like. Draw 1 is the easier setting, while Draw 3 keeps more cards out of reach and is won less often. The game is won when every card sits on the foundations, and once all cards are face up with the stock and waste empty the remaining cards move up on their own.

Drag a card or a face-up group with the mouse or a finger and drop it on the pile where it should go. A single tap or click on a card sends it to a legal place, trying a foundation first and a column next. Click the stock to turn cards, and click the empty stock spot to turn the waste over. Undo takes back moves one at a time with no limit, and Hint outlines one possible move in yellow. Every deal has a number shown as Game #N, and Restart deal plays the same cards again from the start. Adding ?deal=N to the page address opens that exact deal, which lets two players compare results on the same cards.
