Blueprint Gaming releases Kong Even More Money with expanding character

Blueprint Gaming has launched a new slot game, Kong Even More Money, where the titular character physically grows during the bonus round. The game is now available to the studio's operator partners. It is the latest title in the developer's Kong franchise, which began with King Kong Cash. The new release centres on an expanding Kong Collect symbol and three Feature Upgrade Pots that alter the bonus round's conditions.

The Even More Monkey Bonus Round starts with three spins and a 2x2 Kong Collect symbol. Level Up symbols then expand Kong through four stages, adding extra spins and increasing his collection area until he reaches a 5x5 size. A Green Pot upgrade can further extend the gameplay onto an 8x5 grid. The three Feature Upgrade Pots are filled by landing Red, Blue and Green Bonus Scatter symbols during the base game. James Raraty, product roadmap manager at Blueprint Gaming, said the franchise started with a character players connect with. "King Kong Cash gave us a character players connect with, and each Kong game since has given him more to do," Raraty said. He noted that in the new game, Kong grows as the session progresses.

These pots can trigger on any spin, either individually or together, to modify the bonus. They can apply a multiplier, load the reels with extra Cash Prizes and Level Up symbols, or add rows to create the larger 8x5 grid. Raraty explained that the pots change how each bonus round begins. "The Feature Upgrade Pots change how each bonus starts. Depending on which colours have filled, players can enter with extra rows, a multiplier or reels loaded with Cash Prizes," he said.

In the base game, Kong Collect symbols on the fifth reel gather Cash Prize values. A separate Banana Pot fills with every Banana symbol and Cash Prize symbol that lands, eventually triggering a Banana Blitz pick feature when it bursts. The Kong franchise has become one of Blueprint's strongest performing series since its introduction. Each release in the series has given Kong more ways to gather wins. Raraty noted the character's popularity in the studio's markets. "Kong has a strong following across our markets, and this release gives players the biggest version of the character we have built so far," he said. Scale is the central theme of the new game, which builds on the studio's cash-collecting ape mechanic.
