Pragmatic Play launches Sweet Bonanza POP slot in its POP universe
The new game introduces Candy Bomb multipliers and instant jackpots to the popular Sweet Bonanza franchise.
Pragmatic Play has launched Sweet Bonanza POP, bringing its popular Sweet Bonanza slot franchise into the provider's POP universe.
Sharon McHugh, director of public relations at Pragmatic Play, said the move was an opportunity to evolve a player favourite.
"Sweet Bonanza is one of the most iconic titles in our portfolio, so bringing it into the POP universe presented an exciting opportunity to evolve a player-favourite while retaining the elements that have made it so successful," McHugh said.

The game is set on a 3x5 grid and uses a tumbling reels mechanic where players match five or more symbols to win.
Landing any combination of three or more lollipop scatter symbols or POP symbols triggers the bonus game with 10 free spins.
Players can win an additional five to 10 free spins by landing two or three scatters during the feature.
Triggering the bonus game with one, two or three POP symbols also awards an instant prize of 50x, 500x or the 25,000x maximum win, respectively.
The bonus game introduces Candy Bomb multipliers with values of up to 1,000x.
At the end of each tumbling sequence, the values of any landed multipliers are added together and applied to the total win for that spin.
McHugh said the new release combines the POP brand's style with the original game's mechanics.
"Sweet Bonanza POP combines the colourful personality of the POP brand with fast-paced gameplay, persistent multipliers and a trio of instant jackpots, creating a fresh take on a familiar experience," McHugh said.
The company described Sweet Bonanza POP as the latest instalment of one of its most recognisable intellectual properties within the growing POP series.
It said the game combines a vibrant visual style with streamlined gameplay designed to broaden its appeal.
The release retains the Sweet Bonanza identity while introducing new bonus mechanics and instant prizes.
Pragmatic Play said the game delivers fast-paced gameplay as players match 5-9+ symbols anywhere on the tumbling reels.
